** DISCLAIMERS **

Dear Reader,

In good conscience, I would like to add two disclaimers to my blog.  Here you go. . .

1) I am NOT a nurse, doctor nor any other licensed medical professional.  Everything I write about on this blog is based purely on personal experience and from years of my own research and reading.  I will cite many of my favorite websites and go-to authors who are either medical professionals and/or nutritionists whom I have gleaned much of my knowledge from.

PLEASE always consult a medical professional before embarking on any new journey regarding your health and well being. It is especially  imperative if you currently taking any medications or supplements.

2) While I do endorse the Primal/Paleo Lifestyle authors, I am not an advocate of the theory of evolution which most always coincides with their principle teachings/writings.

I am a follower of Christ and a firm believer in the truths of the Scriptures set forth in the Bible. Therefore, I believe in the Lord God Who is the Creator, Redeemer and Sustainer of all things.

Thanks for reading!  Ciao!

Dear Reader,

I'm so priviledged to share a bit of my personal journey to good health with you.

My family's health history is not the greatest. Loved ones have suffered with diabetes, heart disease, etc.

As I began to reach middle age, I wondered if it were possible to reverse this genetic bent. I am happy to report that there is! It's called "EPIGENETICS" (which means to'reprogram your genes').

After several years of reading and research, I have put into practice what I have learned.

The information you will read on my blog is not my own. (see Disclaimer page).  It's simply a compilation of the various websites of health professionals I have gleaned from over the years.  And much thanks to each of them for making this invaluable information available to us.

I am 54 years old and in the best shape of my life. Really!

As a flight attendant, I am quite fortunate to meet many different people each week. Chats with co-workers and passengers lots of times seem to land on health and fitness. As they are taking copious notes, many have  said something like, "Why don't you create a blog with all of these great resources to point people to?"

So I did . . .
